News24xx.com - British scientists have named products and supplements that are capable of provoking an oncological disease.
Researchers from Britain published in the magazine "Which?" the list of the most dangerous products that cause cancer. According to the constituted rating, the most risk of cancer is increased processed meat, which contains a large number of carcinogens. This category includes: bacon, ham or salami. Consumption of 50 grams of processed meat per day can increase the risk of bowel cancer by 18%.
Scientists also called dangerous pesticides, food additives and artificial sweeteners. Researchers believe that the risk of the disease is higher by those, who eat food with these substances.
Alcohol and smoking increases the risk of cancer too.
To reduce the chance of the disease, the researchers advise eating foods high with dietary fiber, minerals and antioxidants: tomatoes, turmeric, blueberries, pomegranates, broccoli and green tea. Their composition removes carcinogens from the body.
