Bruce Wayne is dead after fight with leukemia

News24xx.com - Adam West, a United States actor best known as the star of the Batman TV series, died. Bruce Wayne in a 60's era died at the age of 88 years.

A family spokesman said as reported by the Hollywood Reporter, West died in Los Angeles, on Friday, June 9 night local time. At the end of his life, West had to fight briefly with leukemia.

He left his wife, Marcelle along with six children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

"Our father always saw himself as The Bright Knight and aspires to give a positive impact on the lives of the fans. He will always be our hero," said a family statement.
West was born in 1928 in Walla Walla, Washington State.

He began his acting career in Hawaii in the 50's. West was at the peak after Batman's debut in January 1966.

West began his career in wide screen in the movie 'Voodoo Island' in 1957.

West also appeared in a few TV series title Warner Bros. Until, producer William Dozier was interested in Batman signed him.
