Mohawk hijab, the new trend of hijab which is viral in social media

Not only in music, wearing hijab does not mean you cannot be creative in fashion as well. An example is this woman, who is a fan of metal music. She creatively made her hijab looks like Mohawk hairstyle.

There is a photo that went viral in social media which shows a woman wearing a denim jacket with patchworks at both sides. However, what is interesting is the hijab she wears. The hijab resembles Mohawk hairstyle. There are other photos that show a woman with the same look. What is interesting is that the woman actually competes in a hijab beauty pageant in 2015.

With her hijab style that resembles a Mohawk, she looks like a punk kid. However, she still covers her body and wears a long black skirt like a Muslim woman is supposed to do.

Not only in Indonesia, this hijab style has also become viral in the Middle East. There was a photo of a Middle-Eastern woman wearing similar styled hijab that became viral in social media.
