Armando Izzo was accused of organizing the desired outcomes. The prosecution asked to remove the football player for six years. The punishment could have touched the president of the club Walter Takkone, but he was acquitted.

The footballer's agent said that the charge of the 25-year-old defender is illegal and that Izzo didn’t participate in the match-fixing games, playing for the Avellino football club.

As part of the "Avellino" footballer played 58 games and noted two goals. For "Genoa" the player has been performing since 2014 and at the moment the 25-year-old Italian played 71 matches for this football club.
