Google One introduces cheaper Google Drive subscription

News24xx.com - Google One is actually a change from the Google Drive subscription package, but with a number of new packages that provide more options to consumers, also with cheaper rates. This change is also the first time that Google has given Google Drive for the past four years.

The cheapest package on Google One is still the same as the package on Google Drive, which is USD 1.99 per month for additional storage of 100 GB. New changes occur in the package above, which is USD 2.99 per month for additional storage of 200 GB, and changes the additional storage on USD 9.99 package per month from 1 TB to 2 TB.

In addition to the packages written above, there is no difference between the old Google Drive package and Google One. But it seems Google still has a number of other offers on the Google One program, but until now the offer has not been announced.

Additional storage on Google One can be used together with five other Google accounts that are intended for family members. But it seems that Google does not check the accounts that are registered, so users can add any Google account to enjoy this additional storage.

Compared to other cloud storage providers, the package provided by Google One seems to be the most complete and inexpensive. For example, Microsoft, which only provides 50 GB of storage for a rate of USD 1.99, the cheapest Dropbox package starts at USD 9.99, and its closest competitor is iCloud which costs USD 0.99 for 50 GB, and USD 2.99 for 200 GB.
