33 points of hotspot in Sumatra island, while 32 of them are in Riau province

News24xx.com - Monday, August 27th 2018, Riau Province is still the highest contributor of hotspots in Sumatra island. Even the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) monitored the hotspots in Rokan Hilir (Rohil) which have not disappeared since a week ago.

As stated by the Head of Information Section of BMKG Stasiun Pekanbaru, Marzuki. "Sumatra Hotspot with a confidence level above 50 percent is 33 points. Spread in Riau 32 points and North Sumatra 1 point" he said.

Riau Hotspots are spread in five areas. "Most of them are in Rohil 20 points, Bengkalis 3 points, Pelalawan 1 point, Rohul 1 point, and Dumai 7 points" said Marzuki.

While the potential for daytime rain occurs in some area of Kuansing, Kampar, Pelalawan, Inhu and Inhil. It's just that the air temperature is not blazing, at maximum only 33.5 percent.

"Potential light rain occurs in parts of Indragiri Hilir, Rohil, Kampar and Inhu" said Marzuki.

With air humidity of 50 - 92 percent and wind comes from South to Southwest with the speed  09 - 27 km / hour.
