Just been withdrawn by the headman of village, IDR 297 million is gone after being robbed by thief

News24xx.com - A bag containing money of 297 million Rupiah that had been withdrawn by the Headman of Tasik Betung Village, Sungai Mandau District, Siak Regency, Riau, had been stolen after being left in a car, Friday, July 12th. The money, which came from the state budget, was taken from Riau Kepri Bank, by the Headman.

The bag was stolen when the Headman, Chairul, and his family stopped by the Clinic of Drg. Irma Yulidar in Pinang Sebatang Timur Village.

The thief destroyed the car glass and took the bag of money. When asked about it, the Head of Criminal Resort Unit of Siak Police Department, Faizal Ramzani confirmed the incident.

“Yes, it’s true, we are investigating the case right now. All we know now is that the perpetrator did it by breaking the car glass,” he said.
