Want to set a weird world record, this man sat on the toilet seat for 116 hours

News24xx.com - A 48-year-old man from Belgium, Jimmy De Frenne, wants to prove something that can be considered very strange, he wants to prove to people that he can sit on a toilet seat for days, that he did just is also to set a world record.

This is done by Jimmy in the middle of the bar which had already prepared a toilet for the challenge of sitting 165 hours. He is allowed to take a 5-minute break for every one hour that is ironically used to rest and go to the toilet because the toilet is not really connected to the drain pipe.

It may sound simple, but just sitting quietly on a toilet for a long period of time can have its own challenges.

"I am very tired and my legs are very painful. But I believe i can do it and make an official record," Jimmy said as quoted by Reuters on Sunday, July 14, 2019.

Previously there was no official record of a record of a longest sitting on a toilet seat. But Jimmy claimed to know there are people who could sit up to about 100 hours.

In the end Jimmy himself failed to do the challenge of sitting on a 165-hour toilet. He surrendered on Friday, July 12, 2019 morning with a record time of sitting 116 hours.
