News24xx.com - One Kempang Ship Unit loaded with drums containing fuel oil (BBM) sank in the waters of the Air Hitam Strait, or in front of the Peranggas port, Lemang village, Rangsang Barat district, Meranti Islands district, Riau on Wednesday (18/9/2019).

After checking by the police at the Criminal Scene (TKP) the owner of the Kempang ship named Tengku Narwin.

The incident began on Wednesday (18/9/2019) at around 13.25 West Indonesia Time, when Kempang was carrying a drum loaded with oil (gasoline / diesel) from APMS 7 brothers owned by H. Zulkarnain heading to the port of Peranggas village.

Then, the crew of the ship (ABK) Kempang Wahyu (19) saw the water that had entered the front end of the ship and then the cargo inside the camp shifted to the right, so the kempang experienced one-sided and eventually the shipwreck.

"For this incident there were no casualties and no losses, the situation is safe and under control," he said.
