News24xx.com - Until now several scheduled departure times for commercial flights at Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport (SSK II) Pekanbaru have been canceled.

This information was obtained riau1.com, Thursday, September 19, 2019 from a clearly visible information board installed in the waiting room and several other corners at the Pekanbaru SSK II airport.

The three flights that were canceled included those heading to Tanjung Balai Karimun at 09.05 WIB, Kartajati 09.25 WIB and Tembilahan 11.20 WIB.

Besides being canceled, flights to Surabaya and Jakarta at 08 and 11 experienced delays.

As of this news airing, no official statement has been issued from the airport regarding this delay.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) of Pekanbaru station said that this morning there were 94 hotspots with a confidence level above 70 percent scattered in Riau.

As a result of hotspots, visibility in several areas of Riau has been disrupted.

Some of them are only 400 meters from Pelalawan, 500 meters from Inhu, 700 meters from Pekanbaru and 1.2 kilometers from Dumai City.
