News24xx.com - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received a letter from US President Donald Trump. The letter was reportedly made Erdogan angry. Trump's letter was thrown into the trash.

Reported by CNBC, Saturday (19 Oct), information about Erdogan's anger was reported from senior Turkish officials.

The letter itself contains pressure from the US to Turkey for not attacking Kurds in Syria. Pictures of the letter were released to the public on Wednesday (16 Oct) yesterday. The letter became filled with Trump's banter to Endorgan.

Trump, through the letter, threatened Erdogan with economic destruction if Turkey continued to slaughter thousands of people. "Don't be stubborn, don't be stupid!" Trump wrote.

With the support of Syrian militants, the Turkish military on Wednesday (9 Oct) initiated an air and ground offensive against the Kurdish militant group, Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG), supported by the United States.

This shows the instability of President Trump himself who last allowed Turkey to attack the Kurds. However, through the letter, Trump is now even pressing Turkey to stop.

The Turkish government has long opposed US support for the YPG in the fight against the ISIS group. Ankara refers to the militia as a "terrorist" branch of Kurdish rebel groups in Turkish territory, which has often carried out attacks

Erdogan has vowed that military operations against Kurdish forces in Syria "will not stop".

As a resolute and courageous president, Erdogan insisted that Turkey's attack will not back down, although threats coming from the right and left, side telling Turkey to stop the attack.
