Regarding the 3 Day Holiday Discourse, Pekanbaru Mayor Will Join Central Government Regulations

News24xx.com - The central government plans to increase the number of civil servant holidays (PNS) to three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Related to the discourse, Pekanbaru City Government stated that they are ready to implement the regulation.

"We will join the center," said Mayor of Pekanbaru Firdaus, Thursday (12/5/2019).

Related to this discourse the central government through the State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN), of course, have gone through studies before implementing the policy. The study was about the effectiveness of working hours for government employees.

"With this policy, we hope that there will be no effect on quality degradation. In addition, the quantity of services to the community will not decrease either," Firdaus hoped.

As discussed by the central government, civil servant working days start from Monday to Thursday. However, PNS working hours will be added.
