PEKANBARU - The Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Pekanbaru station on Monday (1/20/2020) found a number of hotspots scattered throughout the Riau Province.

"Based on the observation of the Terra Aqua satellite, today we find five hotspots in Riau," said BMKG Pekanbaru trainer, Yasir Prayuna, through his brief whatsapp.

He further explained, the five hotspots scattered in Riau are found in three regencies, including two hotspots in Bengkalis, two hotspots in Pelalawan Regency, and one point in Siak Regency.
