Over the years, severely damaged, the connecting road of Desa Bantan Tengah-Ulu Pulau has finally been repaired

News24xx.com - After years of waiting, the road connecting Bantan Tengah Village to Ulu Pulau Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency, was finally repaired in 2020.

"For a long time this paved road is expected by residents to get improvements like this. Of course this is a very good thing and will be very much felt by the community," said Wanto, a local resident, Tuesday, February 18, 2020.

Meanwhile, Bengkalis DPRD member, Askori was happy, because the proposed road improvement could be realized in February this year.

"Alhamdulillah, a number of roads proposed for improvement in Desa Bantan Tengah and surrounding areas have been realized this month," Askori said on the sidelines of his activities to review the road improvements.

The teak child of Bantan Tengah hopes that there will also be improvements in other damaged roads, and their development will continue to be improved.

In addition, what is concerned about Askori is public street lighting (PJU) on the inter-village district shaft road, such as on the Bantan Tengah and Ulu Pulau axis roads, which this year will be installed around 40 units.

"Because PJU on this pavement road is still very minimal. With the installation of PJU, people who pass through this pavement are more comfortable and bright. Hopefully next month installation can be done," he said.
