KUANSING- Department of Youth and Sports Education (Dikpora) Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. Still waiting for the Circular from the Ministry of Education and Culture (Mendikbud), about negating the 2020 National Examination (UN).

The elimination of the 2020 National Examination which was agreed to be abolished, namely from elementary to high school level, is known to be the last test carried out before being abolished in 2021. However, due to the current situation in Indonesia, the 2020 UN is forced to be abolished. The decision to cancel the UN this year was taken amid the corona virus emergency situation or Covid-19.

Respond to the omission of the UN from elementary, junior high and high school levels. Head of the Youth and Sports Education Office Kuantan Singingi, Jupirman, S.Pd through Secretary H. Masrul Hakim, S.Ag, MM said that his party was still waiting for an Official Letter from the Ministry.

"We are still waiting for an official letter from the ministry," he explained.

When asked further, Did Kuansing Dikpora get a Circular from the Ministry about the Extermination of the National Examination. He said that until now there had not been.

As is known, the Ministry of Education and Culture (Mendikbud) Nadiem Makarim and Commission X of the House of Representatives agreed to abolish the 2020 National Examination (UN). The 2020 National Examination which was agreed was canceled from the elementary to high school level.

This agreement is based on the increasingly massive spread of Covid-19. In fact, the high school UN schedule must be held next week. Even so with the Secondary and Primary UN which must be scheduled no later than the end of April.
